For the third year in a row, the Dallas Cowboys won 12 games in the regular season and did not advance past the Divisional Round of the playoffs. Could the Broncos take advantage of the Cowboys possibly rebuilding? If you were tuning into Super Wild Card weekend on Sunday, you saw the Cowboys again get bounced out of the playoffs.
And this time, it came against the youngest offense in the NFL in the Green Bay Packers, who became the first seventh seed to take down a No. 2 seed ever since the NFL expanded to seven playoff teams per conference.
Frankly, the score is a bit misleading, as the Packers truly dominated Dallas. For the third year in a row, Dallas won 12 games in the regular season and were not able to advance past the Divisional Round, and still have not appeared in an NFC Championship Game since before I was born, in 1995.
The Cowboys continually have one of the most talented rosters in the NFL, and continually perform under their level. Dallas should have taken care of business on Sunday, but they can never seem to get out of their own way. At some point, something has to change, right? Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
Dak Prescott asks that his name be included among the possible dismissals: “Add me to the list in that case

CeeDee Lamb Sounds off
It was not supposed to be this way. Certainly, it did not look like it would be the case coming in. Few quarterback-receiver tandems in the league have been better this season than Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb of the Dallas Cowboys. But in the playoff opener against the Packers, a 48-32 disaster at every level, the inability of Prescott and Lamb to get on the same page was one of the bizarre side stories that seemed to sum up the Cowboys’ very bad day.

Cowboys Coach to Interview with Washington
The Dallas Cowboys are coming off an embarrassment, but top assistant coach Dan Quinn is nevertheless moving forward with a series of head-coach interview, including one this week with the Washington Commanders.
NFL sources tell our colleagues at CowboysSI.com that Quinn has four interviews lined up for this week, with a likely sixth one on the way.
On tap: Quinn will interview for the Carolina Panthers’ opening on Wednesday, and we believe he will also meet with the Tennessee Titans that day.
On Thursday the Washington Commanders take a turn. And on Friday it is the Los Angeles Chargers who get the sit-down.
