Linda Ronstadt sells music catalog to Irving Azoff’s Iconic Artists Group

The multiple Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter has sold her recorded music assets to mogul Irving Azoff’s new venture Iconic Artists Group, for an undisclosed sum.

According to reports, the deal will see Ronstadt and her manager and assistant partner work to market her catalog and “preserve her legacy in the digital era.”

“I’m very pleased about this partnership,” said Ronstadt, who won her 11th Grammy Award earlier this month. “It’s extremely gratifying to be in the company of Irving Azoff, his team, and his family of great artists, many of whom have been my friends and colleagues for years. It feels like home.”

Additionally, Iconic also owns a controlling stake in the Beach Boys’ intellectual property, including the band’s sound recordings, brand, select musical compositions and memorabilia.
